TEMARES JOINS SHOPPERS CHARGE ACCOUNTS AS V.P./SALES EXECUTIVE 

MAHWAH, N.J. (6/23/06) - Matthew Temares has joined Shoppers Charge Accounts, the private label credit card division of TD Banknorth, N.A., as vice president, sales executive for the southeastern and southwestern United States.

A 17-year veteran of financial services marketing, Temares comes to SCA from Chase Paymentech, Dallas, Tex., where he was an account executive in the firm’s Financial Institution Management Group, responsible for selling wholesale and retail electronic payments processing to small and mid-tier financial institutions. Prior to that, he was an account executive for Cardholder Management Services, Plainview, N.Y., where he marketed credit card portfolio outsourcing and management services to retailers and financial institutions. 

Earlier in his career, Temares held positions as national director of business development with Safeguard Business Systems, Ft. Washington, Pa., and as national account manager for TeleConferencing Services, Inc., Schaumburg, Ill.

A resident of Plandome, N.Y., Temares graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, N.Y., with a B.S. degree in Management.
